By Pendleton

When it comes to deciding what to wear to work that day and the standard white business shirt doesn’t cut the mustard for an outdoor loving person such as yourself, then the logical choice is this Pendleton Board Shirt. The original board shirt was made famous by the beach boys on their album cover for Surfin' Safari. Originally the Board Shirt was used as a wetsuit by Californian surfers in the 50's and 60's used in the surf in the day and worn on the beach at night.

This iconic piece of Americana still stands the test of time. It's a shirt. It's a light jacket. These authentic surf shirts are still made from rugged, mid-weight Umatilla wool, from fleece supplied by local ranchers and woven in American mills. The wool fabric makes it ideal for commuting, camping, hiking or just hanging out in the great outdoors. We love the square bottom and two bias-cut pockets which are some really great touches. So if you’re surfing some waves down in Cornwall or surfing the train into work, you’ll do both in style wearing one of our favourite shirts.
